AI still can’t wash dishes (trust me, I’ve asked), but it can produce podcasts.
I used Google’s NotebookLM to generate a podcast-style conversation based on reports and academic papers about climate change in Lithuania and Europe, including Lithuania’s National Progress Strategy 2050. The result? A surprisingly human-like dialogue with natural pauses, a bit of banter, and even a few interruptions between the "hosts."
NotebookLM is a tool by Google that helps make complex material easier to digest. You upload your sources—research papers, reports, whatever you’re working with—and it can summarize them, let you chat with the content, or create conversations like this one to help you absorb the ideas faster.
I made both an English and a Lithuanian version of the "podcast." The Lithuanian one honestly sounds like something you’d hear on LRT, though I still can't pin down which show it reminds me of.
Take a step back and you start to see how AI could change education entirely. Imagine every student having a personal tutor that adjusts not only to their level of understanding, but also to how they learn best and what they care about.
These tools are already here. All that’s left is for someone to build with them.
